Over 40,000 views on Youtube! IMDB!
[Tuesday, October 30th, 2007]
The Arab in America trailer has accumulated more than 40,000 views on the popular internet video site, Youtube.  While the trailer hosted on our site is of better quality, why don't you go on over and check it out on Youtube? We can easliy push that 40,000 to 50,000 easily!  With some other good news, Arab in America has finally been added into the Internet Movie Database!  Now, it takes them a long time to add/change names - so please bear with us.  If you don't see your name listed, that's probably because it's still being added in (for some reason they add all the names in sections rather than all at once).  If you're improperly credited, please send an email to nabouharb@fiveonfifty.com and I'll change it for you right away!

Where Do I Fit In? (Arab in America)
[Thursday, March 22nd, 2007]
Local Savannah band, Listen 2 Three, finished a song for our short/feature.  We love it so much, that we thought we'd put it on the website and let you guys check it out - so here it is.  Where Do I Fit In? (Arab In America)

Arab! in America! The Short-Postponed
[Thursday, March 22nd, 2007]
Because of all this mayhem on turning Arab! in America! into a feature, the short has been moved into the background a little bit.  We've been screening the rough cut for a bunch of people and the overall response is extremely good.  We're now looking to be finished with it at the end of April.  Keep checking the site for more info.

Lots of News!  Feature Screenplay! New Festival!
[Tuesday, October 30th, 2007]
Yes, I know...  this is the first update since April.  Sorry it's taken so long, but we've been very busy.  First thing's first; I'd like to thank everyone who came out and saw the film at the Cannes Film Festival.  We had a wonderful time and the film was a hit.  Furthermore, many of the same contacts that we met with at Cannes are now reading the final draft of the Arab in America Feature Screenplay! We think it's fantastic and we can't wait for people to read it.  Also, we've been accepted at the Arabian Sights Festival presented by the Washington D.C. International Film Festival!  They've already shown the short once, but if you happen to be in the D.C. area on November 4th, you can still grab tickets and take part in a detailed question and answer with co-writer/director Nabil Abou-Harb.  As for the local, Arab in America premiere (Atlanta)... we're looking at either a February or March date of early next year.  Yeah, we're sorry that it has taken so long, but we're premiering in front of another film, Thomas Verrette's Atlanta feature, "I Am The Bluebird".  More information on that as it comes available.

FESTIVAL DE CANNES!
[Sunday, April 28th, 2007]
That's right, you heard it here first!  Arab in America will debut at this year's Cannes Film Festival!!!  Now, we didn't make the official short selection (due to the fact we totally missed the deadline), but we did slide right in to the Short Film Corner which is an incredible exhibit of short films from around the world.  And instead of one single showing, Arab in America can be seen at the Short Film Corner everyday!  When I get more info, I'll post it!  Looks like we're all going to be in for an incredible ride.  Keep checking for more updates and our new blog chronicling the trip to France!
